On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me Six geese a laying, five gold rings Four calling birds, three French hens Two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree
the sixth day of Christmas
Hey there everyone! Welcome to the Sixth day of Blogmas! That means it’s only SIX DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS! I’m so excited! ✨😁
Anyway, today I’ll be sharing some DIY ornament ideas, and just like with the Christmas Cookies I tried to pick some that you would be able to eye and figure out how to do it, but I’ll also be explaining how to do it.

Let it Snow – Scrabble Ornament
This one is so cute! First, you have to glue ‘let’ together, for the ‘L’ you’ll only glue it on the right side, but for the ‘E’ you’ll want to glue it on both sides, but not for the ‘T’, you’ll only glue the ‘T’ on the left side. You’ll do the same for the ‘snow’ part, but the ‘N’ and the ‘O’ have to be glued on both sides. and the you can glue ‘IT’ together, but but glue on the bottom and the top. Then you can glue it all together!
Glitter Pinecone Ornament ✨
This one is so pretty! It definitely brings a tree to life and gives it a raw Christmas look! All you need to make this one is paint, glitter, and string. First you’re going to lightly paint the ends of the scales, but make sure it doesn’t dry before you add the glitter. Then you can tie a string around the top and you’ve got yourself a Christmas Ornament!
Ooooh I love this one! I actually want to make this one this year! All you need is paint, string, and six popsicle sticks! I would recommend clicking on the link, which is also the picture, to figure out how to make this one, because it might be a little difficult!
Thanks so much for reading! Today I’m giving away free Christmas Desktop Backgrounds, so be sure to leave a comment below requesting them and I will email them to you pronto!
On the third day of Christmas, my true love sent to me
Five Golden Rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and
A partridge in a pear tree
the fifth day of christmas
Hey Everyone! It’s the third day of Blogmas and I have some super cute and creative Christmas cookie decorating ideas!
I tried to pick some cookies that you could eye and figure out how to do it, but I could attempt to explain them. 😅🍪
Let’s take a look!
all images found on google
Melted Snowman Cookie
This kind of looks like a melted marshmallow, and an orange sprinkle as the nose, and a Reese’s as the hat. And the eyes look like dots of melted chocolate… I don’t think this would taste good but it sure does look cute!
Okay, now I would hate to eat these because they are so pretty! I think they had to modify the shape a little bit for the stand. The stand kind of looks like fondant, but it should be easy just to use frosting. And as for the ornaments and snow, it’s like those little pearly sprinkles, which is super cute. I’d say 70% of this cookie is fondant though, which isn’t too great…
High in food coloring I presume?
Probably, but these still remind me of the Grinch! The hearts look like sprinkles, but I’d do icing hearts, just to make it more enjoyable.
Christmas Light Cookies
Ahhh these are so cute! I’m guessing all you have to do is add a base layer of white and freeze it, then add droopy lines and colorful dots? It looks decently easy though, which is a plus!
Santa’s Belt Cookies
I love how simple these are! Just three colors, one box, one line, and red for his coat.
So simple! I love it! I’d totally do these!
Charlie Brown Cookies
I love these so much! A Charlie Brown Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas movies! These look a bit more difficult than the rest, so I’ll just give you the link to the site!
I promise you, the echo dot is an AMAZING gift idea, because it has an intercom, you can connect it to spotify and play music, you can set a timer, listen to the news, ect ect. Basically it’s a tiny smart home.
Since I have honey, I can conveniently get it for 24.99, but it’s regular price with Honey is 39.99. So I’d recommend getting Honey, because it has dozens of deals and free coupons!
This amazon exclusive game is so cool, honestly, because it’s so hard to keep track of all your houses, and organizing all the money is a headache! But this monopoly has it all on a cardboard credit card, which is super easy to handle.
This super cool portable speaker is also a night light, which is super cool because if you’re going camping or a long road trip or a cool summer night get together you can have light and listen to music! It also as a wide variety of colors, and honestly my favorite is the yellow!
It’s only 25$ exactly, so it does qualify for free shipping!
This portable charger is seriously the best thing any phone owner could own. All you have to do is charge it, and whenever you go out with no place to put an outlet, like in a plane, all you have to do is plug it into the charger.
Okay this is genius. It’s a gift card with 4 to 10 places on it, and you can use it at those places. It’s just super cool and anyone can use it. They also come with different categories, and my favorite is probably the happy her.
That’s about it for this post! Comment down below if you found this helpful, and if you might buy any of these things!
On the third day of Christmas, my true love sent to me Three french hens Two turtle doves, and A partridge in a pear tree
the third day of Christmas
Hey! Happy Third Day of Christmas! 😅
Today I’ll be sharing my Christmas Wishlist, because how can I do Blogmas without it? I can’t. ☝
So here we go!
As you all know I recently got braces, so an electric toothbrush would be awesome to help clean my teeth better.
I really like how sleek and clean these mirrors look! And with the lights and the modern look to it ties it all together so well! 😅
I also love how it’s semi portable!
FULL HOUSE – COMPLETE COLLECTION
Way back in August I watched Season One of Full House and I loved it! Ever since then I ‘ve watched 2-4 on Hulu, but since some complications with that it’s been hard to watch it, so having the complete DVD collection would be pretty Rad.
Haha see what I did there?
I love playing with Makeup. Makeup is so fun to do, but I sometimes have to steal my sisters stuff. 🤣🙊 I have most of my own stuff, but it’d still be nice to have some extra stuff!
Also isn’t that picture so fun to look at? But at the same time kind of daunting… 😅
I found out about this Magazine on Kaelyn’s blog, Kaelyn’s life. And ever since then I’ve wanted this Magazine! I was previously subscribed to the American Girl Magazine, but since I’ve grown out of it and it discontinued, I was looking for more magazines to read! And when I came across this one, I thought, ‘This is perfect!”. Because its Faith based, and for teen girls!
Aromatherapy from Bath and Body Works
I love Aromatherapy! It’s smells so good! My favorite was the Revive, but they discontinued that one… I also like it because of the way the bottles look! They look so nice and like glass, but I think they’re actually plastic!
Always Cold Sweatshirt
I love this sweater because it’s so true! I am literally ALWAYS cold! And this sweater is so funny and it would be so fun to wear when I’m cold!😅😅
rose quartz bracelet
This bracelet just looks so elegant and the perfect accessory for the springtime and the summer! It’s also pretty adorable! 😅
Mini Daisy Stickers
These are so cute and pretty and perfect for the back of my laptop! I currently have stickers near the keypad, but I don’t have any on the back! These would be a perfect addition!
floral monogram make-up bag
Ahhh this is so pretty! I love the flowers and the gold zipper it’s just ahhh so pretty! I have makeup bags currently, but this one would probably be my main one!
RULES of the ROAD
This books is currently on my TBR, so it would be nice to have a paperback copy!
This has been on my TBR for as long as I can remember, and it looks like a book I’d like to read over and over again! So this definitely made the list!
That’s all for the third day of Christmas!
What do you want for Christmas? What’s your favorite book?
On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me: 2 Turtle Doves and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
the second day of Christmas
Hey my snowy followers! For todays Day of Christmas, I will be rating Emmie’s playlist as a collab! I reached out to her a couple weeks ago because I realized we were both doing Twelve Days of Blogmas, so I thought it would be fun to do a collab! So after about 13 emails we finally decided to do a playlist swap thingy.
I hope you enjoy, and be sure to check out all these great songs!
Like It’s Christmas – Jonas Brothers – Okay, 9/10, this song really hyped me up for Christmas! It’s also really simple, but also upbeat like Mariah Carrey. I really like this one! The only reason why I took off one point is because it wasn’t really what I was used to, because I’m a sucker for old fashioned music, Lol!
Love You More At Christmastime – Kelly Rowland. Um I’m only 42 seconds in and this is great! 8/10, mostly because the beginning didn’t feel very Christmasy. But she has a very angelic voice, and it’s so smooth. I like the motown feel of it, mostly because I love motown music! But it kind of gets repetitive, and then about at 2:32 during the song the ‘hey’s kind of distracted it from christmas so… Still love it though!
Make It To Christmas – Alessia Cara – First impression, 6/10… Mostly because it felt a lot more like pop music, and not the classic, but maybe people like pop christmas music, because again, sucker for the classics. I like the upbeat and the drums, but yeah, still 6/10. But she does have a beautiful voice!
Little Drummer Boy – for KING & COUNTRY– If I didn’t know that FK&C sung it, I would’ve known right away it was them. I feel like it was good, but I feel like they changed it a little to much, but it was still a good song. The lyric video made since, but again, it didn’t to me. I’d have to look into it for now, but still, I really like the original. 7/10
Silver Bells – Straight No Chaser – Okay this one was cool! I’m kind of getting used to this style of Christmas Music, but I really do like this one! I like the little music video. It was really funny! 9/10!
25th – Tori Kelly – Ehhh this one might be my least favorite. I really got pop music vibes and not Christmas-y vibes like I got from all the others. 5/10. The five is for the sick tune lol xD
Christmas Tree Farm – Taylor Swift – I liked the beginning, but then it kind of went downhill. I don’t really listen to Taylor Swift, so it was different, but I ‘d give this one 7/10…I also REALLY like the music video…
River – Sarah McLachlan – It’s like a very country Christmas song. Reminds me of Dolly Parton. I didn’t really understand it though, which kind of bothered me, but overall it was enjoyable to listen to. 7/10
On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me A partridge in a pear tree
the first day of Christmas
Hello all you people!
Today is the first day of blogmas! YAY!
Which means, I’m going to skip the intro and just hop right into this post! Don’t feel sad though, you’ll see plenty of me throughout the next twelve days!
CHRISTMAS EVE SHORT STORY CONTEST
This is a Christmas Eve Short Story Contest, in which anyone who loves to write can submit a Christmas Eve Short Story by the 23rd, 11:59 PM will have a chance to win a guest post, and a shoutout on my sidebar for the whole year. Sounds pretty awesome, right?
All stories must have a Christmas Eve/Christmas in general theme. It must mention the word Christmas at least once or twice.
All stories must be 200-900 words long, 950 max. Please do not attempt to count the words as this would be very tiring. You can use wordcounter.net which is easier and less time consuming.
Please get your stories in on time, as I would have to write out the post with less than 3 hours to do so, and I strive for well-worded posts, I need all the time as possible.
Stories will be judged on creativity, plot, and grammar. I will be rating them out of ten, and the one with the closest to perfect score will be the winner. For example, if I rated a writer’s submission a 8/10 on creativity, 9/10 for plot, and 9/10 for grammar, they would most likely be the winner, whereas if someone got all 9/10s for creativity and plot, but a 6/10 for grammar, it could most likely ruin their chances at winning.
You may submit your story through google docs, which is the easiest to access. But if you must you can write it out VIA email, and send it to me that way.
Have fun and be original!
Please do not cuss in your stories as it is unnecessary and unpleasantfor me to read.
Submitting your story relatively late could ruin your chances at winning.
Don’t enter unless you are sure you can compete with wiggle room for you enjoy the holidays.
This is a christmas themed story competition, all stories must have a christmas theme and mention christmas at least once or twice.
Failure to adhere to these rules could as well ruin your chances at winning.
This post is just an announcement, so I probably won’t be #schooling y’all on random things…
If I made a whole post about announcements, I guess you guys would pay better attention, because it’s why you clicked on the post. Maybe it’s just a bunch of questions, or updating you on random things.
As you can see in the title above, (☝) you can see that I have mentioned a thing called blogmas! Which I know a lot of bloggers are doing right now, so it probably isn’t ‘fresh’ like my own ideas here, but how many blogging Christmas related fun-stuffs to do? 😂 -I just can’t even with that sentence…
Anyway, I’ll be talking about that at the end of the post, so keep scrolling for some more announcements and –stuff-.
I finally got a Goodreads account!
I think I made one and forgot about it, but I guess that’s just how it goes with me…
But so far I have a bunch of books on my TBR which is super awesome, because I always see books and then I’m like, ‘Now what was that book called again?’ and I never remember!
And I can keep track of all the books I’ve read! Maybe not all of the ‘Who was’ books because I feel like I read two every month. Yesterday I think I read Who Was Henry Ford…
I really miss blogging about books, but since complications with my camera service provider’s phone isn’t working right now, I have no way to upload pics…
I don’t have an etsy shop, but I could spend hours adding random things to my favorites list! ❤ If you wanna follow my account and see all of my favorites, here’s the link!
If you have an account I would love to see all of your favorites as well because, like, I need to find more things-that-I-will-probably-never-get-but-still-admire! 😂
So far these are my three top favorites!
The 200 Follower Thing
I might postpone the celebration until January, since December is packed, because of…
Okay I’ll stop. 😂😂
I’m going to be doing 12 days of blogmas! Which basically is just twelve days stuffed with holiday cheer and Christmas themed posts! And honestly I still have three more days to plan. 😳 Maybe four.
But I know it will all be worth it!
Anyway, that’s should be it, even though I’ll probably miss something and update this post, but who knows, maybe it’s flawless… ✨🤣🤣🤣
As we all know, the holidays can be a stressful time for everyone. We all have the fantasy in which the holidays go smoothly and easily, without the stress of buying presents, wrapping presents, writing blog posts, baking all the sugar cookies you can while frantically searching for wrapping paper. Oh, and don’t forget finishing off all the decorating. Maybe you’re even cleaning up the house for guests that only come once a year. (Raises hand)
So after all that, you’re pretty worn out.
Basically, this is a guide on how to recharge your batteries to help stay festive all throughout the holidays!
If it gets cold in your area…
RELAX BY THE FIRE🔥
Seriously, who wouldn’t love just to sit by the fire and read a nice book, perhaps a christmas themed book?
Make Hot Chocolate and…
Watch a Christmas Movie 🎅🏻
Preharbly hallmark, because you can’t go a whole holiday season without watching Amelia fall in love in a festive small town! Honestly though, the ones with Candace Cameron Bure are a lot better. 😂
Take a deep breath and…
There are lots of good relaxing stretches out there. Or you could do some really stretchy stretches, like lunges, back bends, and splits.
Tip: Make sure to breathe in and out steadily, and focus on your breathing. It definitely helps!
Grab a candle and some bubbles and…
Take a bath🛁
This is a little cliche, and some people don’t like sitting in water with their own filth, but you could shower of first if that makes you feel any better.
Bathing has excellent health benefits, like elevate your mood, help you to sleep better, and relieve muscle pain. And don’t forget the peppermint scented candle.
Get some more exercise and…
GO FOR A WALK🚶♀️
No matter where you live, there will always be somewhere to walk. It’ll help you gather your thoughts and think about what you have to do.
And that folks, is the aftermath of procrastination.
But! I think this is a good time to post, even though it is really bad quality…
Anyway, I recently got a Goodreads account! You can go to the actual site, and on the sidebar you’ll see my TBR! I’m still trying to figure it out, but I think I’m getting the hang of it!
ALSO, I read Unlocked! My library gets an E-Book version and I can just go to their online catalog and reserve it for when it comes out! I was first in line! It was okay, but maybe not my favorite, or my least favorite.
So Lizzy gave my a brilliant idea on what I should do to celebrate 200 followers! A contest! I was thinking maybe a short story contest, but what do you guys think? What type of contest should I do? It might take place in february, because I stocked up my posting schedule a little too well, and now I have a bunch of posts planned from today all the way to January 8th… 😅 So if you want me to do like, a big tag post on the 15th of January, I’ll totally do that, but you just have to make sure to tell me on my Tag page, which is super helpful!
Anyway, thanks for reading and be sure to check in Thanksgiving day, because I have a post scheduled for then and it’s super fun!
Answer the 5 feelings given to you. – How about no? 😂 Ofc, that is why I’m doing this tag…
Write the reason in 5 to 6 lines of why does that particular book come under that feeling. – This should be the most painful tag for me yet.
Nominate between 5-12 other bloggers. – I’ll do 6, plus if you want to do this tag I’ll add your name.
Give your nominees 5 feelings too. – This feels like Inside Out meets is in a book club.
Notify your nominees once you’ve uploaded your post. – I already do 🙂
#1 A Book That Made You Laugh
(Does anyone ever look over to their bookshelf and their just like, “Hmmm..” 😂)
I’m going to have to say Schooled by Gordon Korman ☮. It’s about a teenager who was homeschooled by his hippie grandma named Rain (I can remember rain but not the main characters name???), and when his grandma gets into an accident, he has to live with strangers and go to a real school.
Basically the whole book I was either ‘🤣’ or ‘😔’. It’s a really good book and I’recommendnd it ages 12 to 16.
#2 A Book That Made You Mad
I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that I was like, “Arg I hate you book! YOU MAKE ME ANGRY.” *throws book across the room*
BUT, I’m going to have to say Tales of a Fourth-Grade Nothing 🐢, because I hate this one character. The mom!
She is totally oblivious to her sons’ behavior. The kid is literally destroying the store and she’s all like,
“Oh we just have to let him throw his tantrums, he’s just angry. Sweetie can you please calm down?😊😘”
The woman doesn’t know how to parent. Just saying.
#3 A Book That Lifted Your Spirits
Jacky Ha-Ha. 🎭
A girl who found her love of theater, even though she had a speech impediment, she still overcame it in the end. Love, loss, suspicious people (lol), a daring deed, and a really good role model (I’m so cheesy🙈). I was so happy they had a sequel, which I recently read.
Honestly, if you haven’t read this book, what’s the reason not too?
#4 A Book That Felt Like It Was Written Just For You
Sadly, I haven’t found that book yet.
But, one that came pretty close was Auggie and Me 💕, because I am so much like Charlotte! I can relate to her so much. She’s like my book alter-ego.
I also love all the different POVs, and a POV from Julian?! I don’t hate him as much since I read it, but I mean, he’s still not all that likeable.
#5 A Book That Was Okay
Slider by Pete Hautman. 🍔
I didn’t take away as much as I wanted too, and I felt like the kid just got by on a lucky break. But, it was a good book, and I definitely didn’t hate it. You can read it, and you might take away more, but for now, this book was just okay.
Plus, I really liked the characters. 😂
ALL THE FEELS
– A book that was way too long
– The book in which the movie based on it was better
– A book with the worst characters
– A book in which had the most unexpected plot twist
