the ninth day of Christmas
Hellooooo everybody!
Welcome to the ninth day of Christmas, where I’ll be sharing some cute festive hairstyles for you to try!
Let’s jingle into it!

โ
Easy, Classy, and Simple. I love barrettes!
โ
Half up – Half Down twist. This is my go to classy hairstyle! I’d add a scrunchie though! lol!
โ
This is so cool honestly! I would love to try this someday! And it hopefully come out right… ๐ It would also be cute to add hair glitter! โจ
โ
Okay, this is super pretty and I also tried it on my American Girl Dolls, just to make sure it worked, and it did! It was so pretty and this is probably my go to christmas party hairstyle!
This is the simplest one out of all these I’m sure. It’s just half-way doing a ponytail over and over until it’s just small enough to fit in your fist. Well, that and teasing your hair. Other than that, it’s super simple!
โ
This post was super fun to write, and maybe the most fun out of all of them!
On the seventh day of Christmas my true love sent to me
Seven swans a swimming, six geese a laying, five gold rings
Four calling birds, three French hens, two turtle doves
And a partridge in a pear tree
the seventh day of Christmas
Hey everybody! Today, I decided to do something a little special! Today I’ll be creating my own tag, called, of course, The Christmas Joys tag!
warning: it’ll probably get cheesy.
โ
Rules:
-Thank the person who tagged you
-Answer the seven questions given
-Tag Three People. (Please no, ‘Anyone who wants to this’ please)
Tell you nominees you tagged them.
-Answer the same questions
– Only do this tag after Halloween and Don’t do this tag after January 6th! ๐ ofc!
Questions:
What’s your favorite thing about Christmas?
Probably family and getting to celebrate Jesus’s birth! I also love the food. In general I like food but Christmas food is better. xD
Hot Chocolate or Eggnog?
Eggnog! Hot Chocolate is good, but eggnog is underappreciated so I guess I feel obligated to like it better? I like mint and whip cream in Hot Chocolate, so maybe I like it better when it has all the fixings… xD
Is your climate hot or cold?
hot-ish? It rarely ever gets below 45 in the daytime, but it gets really cold at night, so maybe both? But it’s not like, Texas hot, Vermont cold. It’s in-between.
Have you ever played white elephant?
Once I think three years ago for a youth group Christmas party, and I got a super extra large pack of Sour Patch Kids! And since then I don’t like sour patch kids anymore…
What’s the most absurd gift you’ve ever received?
I don’t think I’ve ever gotten any weird gifts, maybe the sour patch kids thing? idk…
Favorite Christmas song?
Probably “There’s no place like home for the holidays”, because it captures the rush of the holiday and being with family, and that happiness comes from family. Then I also like Carol of the Bells. Lol.
Favorite Christmas Tradition?
Christmas Tree Stumps. Every year since 2013 we’ve saved our Christmas Tree stumps after they’ve been cut off to fit the stand, and we’ve written the date on it. I just think it’s really cool that one day we’ll have a whole stack of them…
I Tag:
Hailey – Sunshine and Rain
BelovedAmy – Amy’s Musica
TheBeautyofThoughts @ A Bolt out of a book
โ
Have fun guys! And of course, don’t forget that if you do want to do this tag, you can do it! No one is stopping you! I just didn’t want anyone skipping the tagging and not assigning people to do it. Because it is a sure way to kill a tag.
On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me Six geese a laying, five gold rings Four calling birds, three French hens Two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree
the sixth day of Christmas
Hey there everyone! Welcome to the Sixth day of Blogmas! That means it’s only SIX DAYS TIL CHRISTMAS! I’m so excited! โจ๐
Anyway, today I’ll be sharing some DIY ornament ideas, and just like with the Christmas Cookies I tried to pick some that you would be able to eye and figure out how to do it, but I’ll also be explaining how to do it.

Let it Snow – Scrabble Ornament
This one is so cute! First, you have to glue ‘let’ together, for the ‘L’ you’ll only glue it on the right side, but for the ‘E’ you’ll want to glue it on both sides, but not for the ‘T’, you’ll only glue the ‘T’ on the left side. You’ll do the same for the ‘snow’ part, but the ‘N’ and the ‘O’ have to be glued on both sides. and the you can glue ‘IT’ together, but but glue on the bottom and the top. Then you can glue it all together!
Glitter Pinecone Ornament โจ
This one is so pretty! It definitely brings a tree to life and gives it a raw Christmas look! All you need to make this one is paint, glitter, and string. First you’re going to lightly paint the ends of the scales, but make sure it doesn’t dry before you add the glitter. Then you can tie a string around the top and you’ve got yourself a Christmas Ornament!
SLEIGH ORNAMENT
Ooooh I love this one! I actually want to make this one this year! All you need is paint, string, and six popsicle sticks! I would recommend clicking on the link, which is also the picture, to figure out how to make this one, because it might be a little difficult!

Thanks so much for reading! Today I’m giving away free Christmas Desktop Backgrounds, so be sure to leave a comment below requesting them and I will email them to you pronto!
On the third day of Christmas, my true love sent to me
Five Golden Rings
Four calling birds
Three french hens
Two turtle doves, and
A partridge in a pear tree
the fifth day of christmas
Hey Everyone! It’s the third day of Blogmas and I have some super cute and creative Christmas cookie decorating ideas!
I tried to pick some cookies that you could eye and figure out how to do it, but I could attempt to explain them. ๐ ๐ช
Let’s take a look!

Melted Snowman Cookie
This kind of looks like a melted marshmallow, and an orange sprinkle as the nose, and a Reese’s as the hat. And the eyes look like dots of melted chocolate… I don’t think this would taste good but it sure does look cute!
Snowglobe Cookie
Okay, now I would hate to eat these because they are so pretty! I think they had to modify the shape a little bit for the stand. The stand kind of looks like fondant, but it should be easy just to use frosting. And as for the ornaments and snow, it’s like those little pearly sprinkles, which is super cute. I’d say 70% of this cookie is fondant though, which isn’t too great…
Grinch Cookie
High in food coloring I presume?
Probably, but these still remind me of the Grinch! The hearts look like sprinkles, but I’d do icing hearts, just to make it more enjoyable.
Christmas Light Cookies
Ahhh these are so cute! I’m guessing all you have to do is add a base layer of white and freeze it, then add droopy lines and colorful dots? It looks decently easy though, which is a plus!
Santa’s Belt Cookies
I love how simple these are! Just three colors, one box, one line, and red for his coat.
So simple! I love it! I’d totally do these!
Charlie Brown Cookies
I love these so much! A Charlie Brown Christmas is one of my favorite Christmas movies! These look a bit more difficult than the rest, so I’ll just give you the link to the site!
On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me
Four calling birds, three French hens
Two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree
the twelve days of christmas
Searching for White Elephant Gift Ideas?
Well here’s your solution! These gifts don’t have any assigned genders that they are for, they’re just little things everybody needs. Maybe some of these are a little girly but hey I tried my best… ๐
I promise you, the echo dot is an AMAZING gift idea, because it has an intercom, you can connect it to spotify and play music, you can set a timer, listen to the news, ect ect. Basically it’s a tiny smart home.
Since I have honey, I can conveniently get it for 24.99, but it’s regular price with Honey is 39.99. So I’d recommend getting Honey, because it has dozens of deals and free coupons!
This amazon exclusive game is so cool, honestly, because it’s so hard to keep track of all your houses, and organizing all the money is a headache! But this monopoly has it all on a cardboard credit card, which is super easy to handle.
This super cool portable speaker is also a night light, which is super cool because if you’re going camping or a long road trip or a cool summer night get together you can have light and listen to music! It also as a wide variety of colors, and honestly my favorite is the yellow!
It’s only 25$ exactly, so it does qualify for free shipping!
Everybody gets a little unorganized, so this gift is perfect for literally anyone who owns a desk. Everyone needs some organization! And this is the perfect solution to that problem!
This portable charger is seriously the best thing any phone owner could own. All you have to do is charge it, and whenever you go out with no place to put an outlet, like in a plane, all you have to do is plug it into the charger.
Okay this is genius. It’s a gift card with 4 to 10 places on it, and you can use it at those places. It’s just super cool and anyone can use it. They also come with different categories, and my favorite is probably the happy her.

That’s about it for this post! Comment down below if you found this helpful, and if you might buy any of these things!
On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me: 2 Turtle Doves and a Partridge in a Pear Tree
the second day of Christmas
Hey my snowy followers! For todays Day of Christmas, I will be rating Emmie’s playlist as a collab! I reached out to her a couple weeks ago because I realized we were both doing Twelve Days of Blogmas, so I thought it would be fun to do a collab! So after about 13 emails we finally decided to do a playlist swap thingy.
I hope you enjoy, and be sure to check out all these great songs!
โ
Like It’s Christmas – Jonas Brothers – Okay, 9/10, this song really hyped me up for Christmas! Itโs also really simple, but also upbeat like Mariah Carrey. I really like this one! The only reason why I took off one point is because it wasnโt really what I was used to, because Iโm a sucker for old fashioned music, Lol!ย
Love You More At Christmastime – Kelly Rowland. Um Iโm only 42 seconds in and this is great! 8/10, mostly because the beginning didnโt feel very Christmasy. But she has a very angelic voice, and itโs so smooth. I like the motown feel of it, mostly because I love motown music! But it kind of gets repetitive, and then about at 2:32 during the song the โheyโs kind of distracted it from christmas soโฆ Still love it though!
Make It To Christmas – Alessia Cara –ย First impression, 6/10โฆ Mostly because it felt a lot more like pop music, and not the classic, but maybe people like pop christmas music, because again, sucker for the classics. I like the upbeat and the drums, but yeah, still 6/10. But she does have a beautiful voice!
Little Drummer Boy – for KING & COUNTRY– If I didnโt know that FK&C sung it, I wouldโve known right away it was them. I feel like it was good, but I feel like they changed it a little to much, but it was still a good song. The lyric video made since, but again, it didnโt to me. Iโd have to look into it for now, but still, I really like the original.ย 7/10
Silver Bells – Straight No Chaser – Okay this one was cool! Iโm kind of getting used to this style of Christmas Music, but I really do like this one! I like the little music video. It was really funny! 9/10!
25th – Tori Kelly – Ehhh this one might be my least favorite. I really got pop music vibes and not Christmas-y vibes like I got from all the others. 5/10. The five is for the sick tune lol xD
All I Want For Christmas Is You – Mariah Carey – Ahhh this one is on my list too! I love this song so much but the rest of my family doesnโt so whenever I sing it I ignore everyone xD 10/10
Christmas Tree Farm – Taylor Swift – I liked the beginning, but then it kind of went downhill. I donโt really listen to Taylor Swift, so it was different, but I โd give this one 7/10…I also REALLY like the music video…
River – Sarah McLachlan – Itโs like a very country Christmas song. Reminds me of Dolly Parton. I didnโt really understand it though, which kind of bothered me, but overall it was enjoyable to listen to. 7/10
A Grown-Up Christmas List – Pentatonix – I love Pentatonix, but this was kind of weak, pretty voices, nice tempo, but still, kind of meh. 7/10 because itโs Pentatonix, come on. xD
Thank you so much for reading, and huge thanks to Emmie for agreeing to do this with me, and for having so much patience as I left 12 hours between emails. ๐ Be sure to check out her blog!
On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me A partridge in a pear tree
the first day of Christmas

CHRISTMAS EVE SHORT STORY CONTEST
Directions:
This is a Christmas Eve Short Story Contest, in which anyone who loves to write can submit a Christmas Eve Short Story by the 23rd, 11:59 PM will have a chance to win a guest post, and a shoutout on my sidebar for the whole year. Sounds pretty awesome, right?
All stories must have a Christmas Eve/Christmas in general theme. It must mention the word Christmas at least once or twice.
All stories must be 200-900 words long, 950 max. Please do not attempt to count the words as this would be very tiring. You can use wordcounter.net which is easier and less time consuming.
Please get your stories in on time, as I would have to write out the post with less than 3 hours to do so, and I strive for well-worded posts, I need all the time as possible.
Stories will be judged on creativity, plot, and grammar. I will be rating them out of ten, and the one with the closest to perfect score will be the winner. For example, if I rated a writer’s submission a 8/10 on creativity, 9/10 for plot, and 9/10 for grammar, they would most likely be the winner, whereas if someone got all 9/10s for creativity and plot, but a 6/10 for grammar, it could most likely ruin their chances at winning.
You may submit your story through google docs, which is the easiest to access. But if you must you can write it out VIA email, and send it to me that way.
Rules:
Have fun and be original!
Please do not cuss in your stories as it is unnecessary and unpleasantfor me to read.
Submitting your story relatively late could ruin your chances at winning.
Don’t enter unless you are sure you can compete with wiggle room for you enjoy the holidays.
This is a christmas themed story competition, all stories must have a christmas theme and mention christmas at least once or twice.
Failure to adhere to these rules could as well ruin your chances at winning.
Happy Independence Day, the day we celebrate our freedom with fireworks, hotdogs, watermelon, swimming, and spending time with the fam.
No matter if your in Alaska or Rhode Island, you most likely love Forth of July. I know I do, and I live in the depths of Lousiana, where Aligators and Crawfish roam around and- yeah okay, I’ll stop.
Anyway, I’ll just tell you what I did for Forth of July!
(Also, I know this is late, mostly because my Scheduling glitched!)
I woke up at 9:30, and I ate breakfast, and I talked to my Mom about plans. A little while later, I took a bath. Then I helped get stuff together for the fam, because we were going to my Mawmaw and Pawpaw’s camp, which is on a lake a couple miles from us.
Me and Mom then went to the grocery store, where we bought snacks and a Birthday cake. (We wandered the aisles for a while to find the Little Debbie’s, but then I realized they must be on the end of an Aisle. I was right.)
Then when we got home, we packed up and left!
When we got to the camp, we got all the stuff out of the truck, (I like, ran. LOL, 6 kids and a baby is not my choice of travel) and I went into the camp to say hello to everyone.
Except they were all down the pier, which is like, 120 feet long? It looks longer and feels longer than it actually feels, but trust me, its a long way down, and you can’t run.
So there I go. Traveling down the pier. One step at a time. I notice pink stuff every where, but I think nothing of it.
I finally get there, and I can say hello to everyone! It’s kind of cool, in the temperature way. I decide to go back down and help Mom carry in bags.
La de da de da, down the pier we go again.
“Are you going to fish?” I hear my Pawpaw say.
“Oh I don’t know, maybe!” I say, but the answer is really no. But if I say that he’ll look at me like I went to China just to watch TV.
I reach the cabin, and I help unload. I grab my bag that I brought (With books in it) down to the pier. I get out a chair to read, and I don’t sit down. Why? There’s a spider on the chair. I do not want to sacrifice the book I was reading so I just kind of sat there. Waiting. until finally I decided just to shake the chair. The spider is missing. The spider is probably still on the chair. I bring the chair to the middle of the pier, where all the adults usually are.
Underneath the roof is where I was!
Where the kids fish
Bait station
Kids fishing spot
Boat launch
by the boat launch.
I snap it with a rag and it falls off. Victory. I start to read. Everyone comes down to the pier now. About 30 minutes later, I go back down to camp. (I have a bad reputation for not being able to decide where to go)
As I am happily walking back, I see it. A snake (I typed Snack on accident lol), on the pier. In a panic, I decide to jump off of the pier and unto the muddy ground. Now I am in a snake infested area. I can’t move because there is muddy all around me, so I go back unto the pier, a couple feet away from the snake, and run back to tell everyone about it.
“Oh okay.” They all say.
Then my five- excuse me, six, year old cousin and my sister walk back down the pier, ignoring me and what I say.
They make it. With no snake in their path. I walk back down the pier too, running past where the snake was.
My Pawpaw say me and told me not to run. I said Yes Sir, even though I could’ve said,
“BUT THE SNAKEEEEEE!!!”
Anyway, I make it into the camp, tell my Mom and my Aunt, and they where a lot more sympathetic. I eat a snack.
Before I know it, it’s lunch time. I don’t bring up the snake. Because they didn’t care last time.
Pretty much nothing interesting happened after that, so lets skip to about Four O’ clock. My cousin says, “Let’s catch you a fish.”
You see, I can’t fish. Hold up, let me rephrase that, I can, I know how, but Fish do not like to bite my hook.
So I put my pole in the water and wait.
No fish. I change fishing spots. No fish. I go everywhere, no fish.
I get tired of this, so I go into the camp to rest.
The rest is boring, so I’ll spare you the details. We go home, we eat jambalaya, and I take a bath. When I get out, I get on my computer and search up the pink stuff on the trees.
Turns out, it was snail eggs, pink and poisonous snail eggs.
THE END.
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
SO, what did you do for Forth of July? Do you like to fish? Have you ever had a close encounter with a snake? Comment below!
Hello! With the nearing Christmas season, it’s a little hard to know what to get someone. Especially if they already seem to haveย everything.ย Anything you pick up they probably already have one.ย It seems like there’sย nothingย new. Or maybe it’s that they are really picky. And you can’t findย anything. All the sites you look at seem to only have junk that no one really wants.
Well here’s news for you.ย I’ve done it all Christmas shopping for you.ย
Every day until December 16th I will post 10 Christmas Gifts a day. 10 genres.ย And since I know there are boys on that Christmas list too, I willย have to include them too.
So without further ado, the first genre,
Makeup Lover. She loves makeup, and she loves all things sparkly! (Sometimes) This is also good for any older sister you might have or a younger sister who is just starting out with Makeup.
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
So? What do you think? Do you have any makeup lovers in your family? What should the next genre be?
And remember, no matter what you get them they are still going to love because it came from the heart. And they’ll also know that the greatest gift of all was given, and gift that money couldn’t buy.
